 | Just because everyone is in love w/ her lips and looks...... it doesnt make the movie any good! Pitiful and bland --- would rather watch old episodes of Fraggle Rock! |

 | I do believe that I'd watch Ms. Jolie (hopefully NOT "Mrs. Pitt" by now!) in most anything, up to and & including "the Hollywoodized version of the Hellary (I purposefully mispelled that!) Clinton Story." But "Gia"- well, I am sorry if the lady went to discos (one of the PRIMEST "contributing factors" to AIDS), & I'm sorry she got into dope so heavily. But really - EXACT same plot as "Sid & Nancy," or more recently, the Stones' "Like A Rolling Stone" video. I couldn't even make it thru a single watching...well, after she quit running around naked, anyway...so I gave my VHS copy to my beloved Ex, who said, at first, "hey, ain't that the lil' girl on 'The Seventies Show'?" And then when "that lil' girl" grew up...QUITE nicely, Ex's husband and I, sort of begrudgingly put down our guitars for a minute and attempted to "view" "Gia" with Beloved Ex - that is, until those 2 guys...(brf) kissed. "THAT'S ENOUGH," we screamed in unison," BACK TO JACK DANIELS AND THE GUITARS, I AIN'T INTO THIS $h!+!" But, hey: It's all been done before, from "The Billie Holliday Story," thru that hideous Striesand/Kristofferson...thing, "A Star Is Born," and thru the two mentioned above. Angelia is almost excruciatingly beautiful, but "Gia" is...eh...well, boring, I guess...buy the ticket, take the ride... |

 | Love it! It's honest. The story manages to make you understand her. They did a wonderful job of bringing out the beauty in every part. Showing the audience that sometimes pain and ugliness is the most beautiful of all. |

 | If you're a fan of Angelina Jolie, you should already have this DVD. Even if you have never seen it before, you should, it's an amazing movie.
It's an emotional movie, Angelina plays the role of Gia excellently. You'll be crying by the end of it. |
