SummaryTHIS IS MY BOOMSTICK!
Content
I've loved this movie since I saw this on the Sci-Fi channel a few years ago. One time, my friend came over and 'Army Of Darkness', just happend to be on, so we watched it and kept qouting ( I don't know how you spell it) it. The next year on my birthday, that same friend got me the movie. We watched it and began to start qouting the infamous onliners that Ash spews from his mouth,oh, every five minutes.

Army of Darkness is probably the most goofiest installment of the series. Though I have yet to see or buy 'Evil Dead' 1 or 2, I have a good idea of it's probably like. Also I think that A.O.D is probably the most famous installment of the three Dead movies. Also it had the biggest budget out of the three. Probably the most famous scene in the movie is the pit fight, between Ash and the Pit Witch. Anyway, buy this with total confidence, if you canfind it.

Summarya great mindless adventure
Content
i remember the first time i saw this movie (i had never seen the first two) i was immediately a part of the army!
if you have never seen it, this of it as this way, take one part three stooges, one part cheesy exorcist, one part indiana jones, one part any superhero comicbook, this movie will probably never win any type of "big budget award, or have major media attention. i think the joy of this movie is that it is seriously a mindless joyride through the mind of a bunch of kids that got together for the love of making movies. they never expected on making an oscar from this, if you know bruce campbell, or sam raimi or rob tapert or any of the other michigan mafia you will know it was all for the fun of it. as you hear from the commentary of this it would almost seem as though this was like a reunion for this bunch of yahoos. bruce campbell is a B Movie genius, he is everymans everyman, he makes you feel like in these movies that YOU can be the superhero of normal everyday life when it isnt so normal. sam raimi is a director's master, when he was making his movies as a kid he was innovating new ideas that no one else had done before. i have never once thought of myself as a connesuer of good film making, or even a good critic, but as an average joe i can tell you if you want to just watch a movie for the joy of watching it then this movie is your huckleberry.......... this movie will always have its perm. place in my shelf! and will always be the top of my list........
besides that how many movies can you say you have quoted using pickup lines such as "gimme some sugar baby"

HAIL TO THE KING BABY!

SummaryA Hilarious B Horror Movie- A Review By Mary Sanders
Content
I was about nine or ten when I first saw this movie with my older brother and cousin. Did we laugh our heads off! This movie is clever, and very well-made. Especially for a B horror movie. The costumes are accurate and beautiful for medieval times.
Anyway, Ash is a neurotic man who recently travled back in time to medieval days. The people think he is a criminal, and try to kill him by throwing him into a pit filled with monsters. But luckily, he managed to bring his futuristic chainsaw with him, and managed to defend himself against the monsters. He hates where he is and keeps struggling in attempt to find out how to get back to his own time. A wise man A. K. A. a wizard, tells him he has to get the Necranomican in order to be transported to his own time. In the meantime, he ends up falling for a lovely medieval woman named Sheila (ha,ha pretty accurate medieval name huh?). He obeys the wizard's command by going into a graveyard to get the book. And let's just say things really screw up. The funniest parts is when he is in the windmill and all the little "he's" are trying to kill him. As well as when he screams the infamous words: "This is my BOOMSTICK!" This DVD also holds very interesting extras. Buy it!

SummaryHigh Camp and Bruce Campbell, What's Not to Like
Content
This movie is hilarious throughout, it takes the Evil Dead mythos and spins it into a fun medieval adventure punctuated with complaints and a## kicking from everyone's favorite film hero...Ash. While not as good as the other two Evil Dead films this one is still a great movie. This movie thrives off of a passion for films and filmmaking. Sam Raimi's great camerawork is on display as usual. Bruce Campbell is at his best here as smartmouthed grumpy Ash. There is nothing to dislike here, this is a movie made for movie lovers.
