Vivacious brunette actress Candace Bailey, a former Junior Olympic gymnast, was
on Nickelodeon’s live action program “U-Pick Live” from 2002 to 2005. Adding to
some TV-movie and voice-over works, she also has appeared in an episode of "The
Sopranos," "Slimetime Live" and “Robot Chicken” (voice). The 5' 6" tall
currently plays Skylar Stevens in a post-apocalyptic CBS serial drama,

Career:
A former Junior Olympic gymnast, Candace Bailey started her acting career with a
guest appearance in a March 1999 episode of HBO’s successful drama series
starring James Gandolfini, "The Sopranos." In March 2001, she performed on MTV’s
contest show "Say What? Karaoke."
From 2002 to 2005, Candace was in the live action program “U-Pick Live” that
aired weekday afternoons at Nickelodeon Former Headquarters in New York City's
Times Square, where she frequently performed physical feats. During that time,
she was spotted as a guest in an April 2003 episode of Nickelodeon's TV series "Slimetime
Live" and appeared as a host in Nickelodeon Magazine's Big 10 Birthday Bash.
In 2004, Candace was seen in the family TV-movie Nick Takes Over the Superbowl,
alongside Harry Potter stars Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. The next year, she
starred as Sarah Taylor in the comedy telemovie Taylor Made, which also featured
Erik Estrada. She also lent her voice to character Fauna in the video games Tak
2: The Staff of Dreams (2004) and Tak 3: The Great Juju Challenge (2005).
Recently, Candace provided her voice for a November 2006 episode of Cartoon
Network's stop motion animated television series “Robot Chicken” and co-starred
with David James Elliott in the made-for-TV movie directed by Jon Avnet, Sixty
Minute Man (2006). She currently plays Skylar Stevens in a post-apocalyptic CBS
serial drama "Jericho," which revolves about the residents of Jericho, a small
rural Kansas town, in the aftermath of a series of nuclear explosions across the
continental United States.
