SummaryA FUNNY MOVIE
Content
My grandson forced me into watching this one. I am not in the least a Pauly Shore fan, so I was not pleased when he dropped the film into the VCR. I have to admit though, I found myself laughing out loud several times. The story is cute and the comedy was very well executed. The supporting cast was great. This is a good one to watch on a rainy evening and certainly beats most of the stuff on TV at the present time. All in all, recommend.

SummaryLove in the country
Content
A rural girl (Carla Gugino), the farmer's daughter, is sent to a big city school. There she meats and embraces the outside world. Evidently it is true that you can't keep them down on the farm. To escape a fate worse than death (marriage to a local yokel) she contrives and cajoles a fellow student Crawl (Pauly Shore) to be a pretend fiancé and potential Son-in-law.

Now the clandestine meeting. The family slightly dysfunctional believes they found a weird dude to tinker with his mind. Sot of reminds you of a rural "My Man Godfrey". Crawl brings out the best in people and corrects the dysfunction.

The real question remains will he really be the "Son-in-law?"

SummaryFresh Off The Farm...
Content
Even though the DVD itself doesn't have that many features on it, it does show other recommendations. The movie itself is.... moderately neat-o! You'll see what happens if you'd bring someone from California to South Dakota. I'd like to check out how good the soundtrack is if I find it at all.

SummaryGreat film
Content
I'm not that much of a Pauly Shore fan, but when I first saw this I loved it. Now, years later, I saw it on TV and still loved it. It's a funny film. I'd say it's Pauly Shore's best film. Everyone in the family will enjoy it.

SummaryExcellent comedy that will be a modern cult classic.
Content
Pauly Shore's best role since " In The Army Now" has him as a city boy from L.A. in love with a Farmer's daughter and joins her for Thanksgiven and wants to be part of the family but he sometimes screws things up.

Very entertaining, funny and sometimes heartwarmining with fine performances, a must see movie.

The DVD looks good with picture and sounds great with it's sound.
