 | I only see 2 to 3 movies a year and this one for some reason captured my eye.
What a great flick. The parts were expertly played, and Heath Ledger captured Skip perfectly.
I wish Mitch Hedberg had a bigger part than just the guy with the wheels. (I love him)
The woven story of the boys in this age of growing up, and their lives how different yet together and the bonding between them and the paths they all chose made the movie shine.
Plus the nostaliga of the 70's and remembering the old banana boards just cracked me up.
If you are going to see one really good flick this summer - this should be it. |

| i thought this movie wouldn't be that good, but i gave it a try anyway, and let me tell you something: the $9 i spent on that movie was MORE than worth it. this was one of the best movies i've ever seen. great music, great actors, great stunts. if you deeply hate skateboards than dont see this movie, but if you dont than i HIGHLY reccomend this movie, it is now one of my favorites. |

| This movie is awesome. John Robinson is awesome as stacy pertalta. Heath Ledger portrayal of Skip Engblom is perfection. The scenery and camera angles were a great backdrop for the film and the soundtrack makes this movie absolutely perfect. |

| My friend and I went to see Lords of Dogtown. There was only 4 other people in the theater. I absolutley loved the movie..so did my friend. Although we are not skaters...we liked the movie a lot. Our other friends say that they think it looks stupid...I don't see where they get that from because the commercials make it look so good. The actors are really good too...haha they are also handsome. 2 Thumbs Up! |
