SummaryMore Powers to ya'
Content
International Man of Mystery Austin Powers (Mike Myers) returns in this second Bond spoof. And in one of those Hollywood rarities, it is a better film then its predecessor. many of the same gags make appearances in this film but the addition of heavy-weight Scotsman Fat Bastard (Meyers in fascinating make-up) and Dr. Evil quarter size clone Mini-Me (Vern Troyer), this film aims oh so much higher. (Well, not too high... It still aims pretty low...) Beautiful Heather Graham is the latest Powers girl but she doesn't add the respectability of Elizabeth Hurley (who added class just with her marvelous British accent.) With this film, Powers himself is quickly becoming the straight man to the humor. This is a good thing. Dr Evil on the Jerry Springer show just adds to the pop culture phenomenon that the film sets out to parody. The Loaded DVD has many fun things including a hidden 'Easter egg' mock-umentary about Doctor Evil. This film puts the grrr in Danger.

Yo... Saw this when I was 8, and I loevd it! It was so much better than the 1st!

PLOT: Dr. evil returns to earth. He then plans to steal AP's mojo and austin discovers it, he is hooked up with a hot chick to steal back his mojo. Then Fat Bastard is introduced, a fat scottish guy who steals APs mojo. And Doctor evil has a 1/8 size clone named Mini Me. Then he changes the moon into a death star.

Thoughts: Good, but I thought Goldmember was better.

See it!

Summary Maybe the best Powers?
Content
I saw this movie in theatres when I was 8. I didn't really understand it, but I still enjoyed it. I rented it a few days ago, and it is my favorite Powers movie.

This time, Dr. Evil travels back in time to steal Austin's "mojo" when he was frozen. He also clones himself into a 1/8 sized clone named "Mini-me." Now Austin must travel back in time, get the mojo back, and stop Dr. Evil's "Death Star."

This movie is hilarious! Especially the part where Austin and Shagwell were in the tent. And the "Rocket" joke. The only thing I hated was that Vanessa was a fembot. See this movie now! Also, the 4th movie is coming out in 2007. I'll be old enough to drive to the theater then.

Summary'Austin Powers-The Spy Who Shagged Me' (New Line) DVD
Content
Review no.397.Must-have DVD release of fabulous 1999 movie that kept me laughing most of the way through. This was the second(so far anyway)in a series of Austin Powers comedy-spy movies.Wanted to mention this flick also has a good soundtrack to it as well.Loved the following scenes:where Austin(Mike Meyers)is mingling at a swingers-like bar with Lenny Kravitz covering the Guess Who's "American Woman" over the PA,where he and side kick Felicity Shagwell(Heather Graham)are in their tent and Mr.Evil's henchmen catch a silhouette view of some really side-splitting images, like(WHAT appears)to be Austin having a rodent, among other things pulled out of his behind(I played this scene over and over once)and where Felicity distracts one of Dr.Evil's guards by flashing him as he yelps,"Mommy!".Only thing I disliked about this sequel was the scene where Dr.Evil sings that really lame song while playing on the piano.Mini-Me and Fat Bastard's roles were a scream as well to watch.Recommended.

SummaryThe best film of the trilogy
Content
I personally liked it better than the 1st and 3rd movie. Dr. Evil invents a "Time Machine" to travel back to 1969 and steal Austin Powers mojo. Dr. Evil has himself cloned. The clone is perfect in every way, except he is one eighth his size. Austin Powers also time travels to get his mojo back. He winds up meeting a superchick named Felicity Shagwell and then the rest of it is your usual hilarious Austin Powers movie.
