“My best advice is just to be to know yourself and know your limits. If you know yourself then you'll know when you're getting yourself into a situation that you can't handle, and feel that something bad could happen. If you know your limits, and you know when to say no, you really can't go wrong.” Kiely Williams.

Career:
Appearing in a TV pilot produced by Robert DeNiro when she was five, Kiely Williams began learning to sing and produce music at a recording studio owned by her older sister and legal guardian, Michele Williams, who was a music artist manager.
In the late 1999, Kiely's mother formed a hip hop, pop and R&B girl group named “3LW,” whose members are Naturi Naughton, Adrienne Bailon, and Kiely. Managed by Kiely's older sister Michele, the trio got signed with Epic Records and soon released their self-titled debut album on December 5, 2000. The platinum-certified album spawned the singles "No More (Baby I'ma Do Right)," which reached #23 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is considered 3LW's signature song, and "Playas Gon' Play," which only peaked at a low #81 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the summer of 2001, the group went on the MTV Total Request Live tour along with Destiny's Child, Dream, Nelly, Eve, and Jessica Simpson.
Along with “3LW,” Kiely released a second album entitled "A Girl Can Mack," which hit the stores on October 22, 2002. It yielded the P. Diddy-produced single "I Do (Wanna Get Close To You)," featuring Loon, which peaked at a disappointing #58 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Neva Get Enuf (feat. Lil' Wayne)," which failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. The album itself debuted at #15 on the Billboard 200 with 53,000 copies sold in the first week.
Just before the release date of the album, Naturi Naughton left the group due to a heated argument. On December 10, 2002, now duo "3LW" released their first holiday/Christmas album, "Naughty or Nice."
In Fall 2003, with new member Jessica Benson, the girls moved from Epic to Jermaine Dupri's So So Def label and soon recorded their next album, "Point of No Return," which was never released due to Adrienne and Kiely's involvement with Disney's "Cheetah Girls" franchise.
Kiely and Adrienne joined The Walt Disney Company's girl group "The Cheetah Girls" in 2003. The group was made famous by the eponymous Disney Channel original film and its sequel in which Kiely also stars as Aqua. They released two albums, "Cheetah-licious Christmas" (2005), which peaked at #74 on the Billboard charts and has sold over 350,000 copies in the United States and spawned the singles "Cheetah-licious Christmas" and "Five More Days 'Til Christmas," and "TCG" (2007), which spun off the singles "So Bring It On" and "Fuego." They also released a live album called "In Concert: The Party's Just Begun Tour," which recorded during one of the group's The Party's Just Begun Tour dates and released on July 10, 2007.
Kiely has completed filming the third Cheetah Girls movie, entitled "The Cheetah Girls: One World," which will air on Disney Channel in the summer of 2008. She also has a role in the upcoming comedy film starring Anna Faris, "The House Bunny," and is currently working on an advice book for teens.
“I've been writing my whole life, and I always get the most inspiration when I'm in motion.” Kiely Williams.
