 | This film showcases Michael Keatons acting abilities. The guy has great range, wish he would go back to his comedy roles these days. Storyline, simple. Keaton, overworked, no time for family, decides to experiment in a cloning experiment. 3 clones to be exact, a stud, a feminine man, and a downright idiot. Keaton brings these characters to life with spunk. Directed by Harold Ramis, of Caddyshack fame, uses all of Keatons talents to the full. Very funny stuff, and multiple Keatons in one shot is fabulous. A good downhearted film, on one mans journey to spend more time with family, isn't that how it should be. Forget 4 stars, I give it 16. Check out Keaton in Night Shift, his breakthrough film and his best role to date, directed by Ron Howard. Michael Keaton is fantastic in his comedic roles, I want more. |

 | Michael Keaton's performance in the hilarious film "Multiplicity" is outstanding. Keaton is a "too busy to do anything else but work" contractor who becomes a test subject for a scientist's human cloning project. The clones turn out to be a big help and a big headache. The clones emphasize different parts of Keaton's psyche and the resulting interplay of their/his personalities makes this film enjoyable and funny. Keaton is able to play four different roles in the same film with ease.
Guaranteed to be a good laugh and sure to be a classic. |

 | What a hilarious movie! I've loved this movie ever since the first time I saw it, and it still hasn't gotten old. I find myself laughing more with every viewing! It's funny, clever, and has more substance than most comedies. Michael Keaton does an amazing job in this movie, and plays all four Dougs so well that you always know which Doug it is, without causing any confusion at all. Doug #2 is probably my favorite of them all. I watched this movie recently on TV and had to order this DVD off amazon! I highly recommend all of you comedy lovers out there do the same! |

 | You know, if you are a person who is way to overly-sensitive and thinks that this movie makes fun of mentally disabled people, go watch Ya-Ya Sisterhood or something, pansy. Michael Keaton is great in this film and he plays three other personalities: a macho man workaholic, a feminine do-gooder, and a mentally inept guy. This movie is funny, watch it if you are not an overly-sensitive whiner like that one viewer. |

 | Michael Keaton is his usual hysterical self in the story of Doug, the man with too much on the proverbial plate. How many of us have wished that we could clone ourselves? One could go to work, one could handle the household drudgery and as this went on we could handle the challenges of, say, a Cubs game. Life would be perfect...or would it? Doug finds out almost immediately that you should be careful what you wish for and learns ulitimately where his priorities should lie.
Michael Keaton is one of the most underrated performers of our time from his stand-up routines to his comedies(Night Shift, Beetlejuice...)to his dramatic performances(Pacific Heights, My Life, and Clean and Sober.) Heck he was even in Batman--action/adventure! What can this man not do?
Multiplicity is a great film. Give it a shot. Keaton shows his range in this film alone. |
