Background:
American actress Nicole Paggi is known to television audiences for playing Jennie Bradbury on “Pasadena” (2001-2002), Sydney Shanowski on the first season of “Hope & Faith” (2003-2004) and Sara on the sitcom “One on One” (2005-2006). She also had a recurring role in “Providence” (2002) and guest stints in “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “CSI: Miami” and “Judging Amy,” among other shows. In 2007, she branched out to feature films with a starring role in Alejandro Alcondez's “Cielito lindo.”
Paggi lives in Los Angeles. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and reading. Her other interests include making jewelry and running.

Nicole Collier Paggi was born on August 15, 1977, in Travis County, Texas, but was raised in Austin, Texas. She graduated from Texas State University. While in college, she was a member of the Theta Psi Chapter. After visiting a fellow Texan in Los Angeles, she decided to pursue acting professionally and spent the next two years studying acting in Los Angeles and New York.

Career:
Nicole Paggi received her first acting break when she landed the role of Jennie Bradbury, the best friend of Lily McAllister (played by Allison Lohman), on the Fox dramatic series “Pasadena,” which was created by Mike White. The series aired on television from November 2, 2001, to July 17, 2002.
In February 2002, Paggi portrayed the character of Maddie Mills in “Everybody Loves Rudy,” an episode of the Kevin Williamson short lived show “Glory Days” (2002), starring Eddie Cahill, Poppy Montgomery and Jay R. Ferguson. Her career received an additional boost when she was cast as Brittany in several episodes of the popular NBC series “Providence,” which starred Melina Kanakaredes. She appeared in the episodes “Gotcha,” “Smoke and Mirrors,” “Out of Control,” “A New Beginning,” “Cloak & Dagger” and “The Sound of Music” (all 2002) of the series. She also guest starred in two episodes of “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (2002 and 2008).
In 2003, Paggi portrayed Zoe in an episode of the television series “Fastlane” called “Dogtown” and was cast as Ms. Griffin in the “Judging Amy” episode “Going Down” (2003). She also appeared in the CBS pilot “Expert Witness” and with Ted McGinley, Linda Purl and Stacy Keach in “Frozen Impact” (both 2003). Also that year, she was cast as Sydney Shanowski in the ABC sitcom “Hope & Faith,” which starred Faith Ford and Kelly Ripa. She left the series in 2004 and was replaced by Megan Fox.
Paggi next portrayed the role of Laura Spelman in an episode of “CSI: Miami” called “MIA/NYC Nonstop,” which was broadcasted on May 17, 2004. Later, on December 29, 2004, she played Julie in “Shall We Fight,” an episode of the Fox sitcom “Quintuplets.” The following year, she appeared as Skylar Simms in an episode of “Jake in Progress” called “Loose Thread” and costarred with Christy Carlson Romano, Keri Lynn Pratt, Katey Sagal and Teddy Dunn in the television film “Campus Confidential” (ABC Family).
Paggi returned to series television as a regular when she was cast as Sara Crawford in the season finale of the UPN sitcom “One on One” (2005-2006). The show starred Flex Alexander as Mark “Flex” Washington, a sportscaster who becomes a fulltime father when his former wife moves out of the country. In 2007, she starred with Alejandro Alcondez and Ilia Volok in the feature film “Cielito lindo” (“Beautiful Heaven”), which was co-directed and written by Alcondez.
