 | This movie really hits close to home for me. My mom and I are both security guards at K Mart and have been for many years. My mom started here before me and she was the one that hooked me up with this job, which was cool because we lived together in the trailer park down the street. The movie reminds me of my mom and I busting all the perps that come into our store and try to cause trouble. Once I had t-shirts made up for me and and my mom that said "Stop or my Mom Will Shoot" on them, and when someone would walk out with something not scaned, I would yell it out. No one that I know shares the same love for the movie that I do, but what do they know, their just jealous of my power. Because when your a security guard, your the man. Thats why we don't carry guns or anything because people know not to mess with us. I hope to someday work over at the mall as a security guard, and that is when you know you've made it to the big time. |

| In the early 1990s someone made a huge mistake: someone told Sylvester Stallone that he was a funny guy, someone dare to say that Rambo could make a modern Cary Grant, someone told him that Rocky reminded him / her the lovable, funny Tramp character that Charlie Chaplin portrayed in his glorious comedies. So Sylvester believed that awful lie, and he immediately tried to act "funny". "Oscar" was his first infamous "comedy" movie, and then he tried again with "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot".
"Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot" is a collection of cliches, stereotypes, unfunny performances, boring jokes, and a 10 page script. I think the movie produced in me a chuckle, but I'm not sure, perhaps Estelle Getty did something worthy of a giggle.
Anyway, "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot" is not a funny movie, the action sequences are poor, the comedic sequences are not funny at all. I don't know what is funnier: Sylvester Stallone trying to be funny, or the fact that Universal dare to release this movie on DVD. |

I've got a gun...like my son....MAKE MY DAY>....hehe... How pathetic. And i wish Stallone was shot by his mom.....the worst movie he's ever done....... |
