Summaryshould be great!
Content
Most of the crew from lord of the rings is working on this movie, except for peter jackson. From what i've seen it should be a great movie! Another one of the inklings works is finally coming to the screen. Let just keep our finger's crossed that pete jackson will make the hobbit into a movie. I would even go see a movie based on the silmarillion. Hollywood director's and producers should take note their are many more excellent children's novels, science fiction and fantasy works that should be made into films like a faithful version of malory's king arthur or the once and future king by t.h. white. terry brooks shannara books would also make great movies. A big screen adaptation of homer's odyssey? the list could go on forever, the epic of gilgamesh or beowulf would also make interesting choices.
Terry Goodkind's sword of truth series or robert jordan's wheel of time would also make great adaptations if done right.

SummaryIt's too early to review but...
Content
It's too early to review a film that hasn't come out. and while you could fight that the book will be better. Which is the truth with ANY adaption, Even if it is very close and very good.

However, i've also seen alot of terrible adaptions and, If you see the 'behind the scenes' footage that Disney has put out, Who's involved (including the author's family) and everything else. It looks very promosing and i'm betting it will be worth my money.

SummaryShould be spectacular!

http://www.joblo.com/index.php?id=6433 is a location you can copy and paste into the address area of your browser to see the preview featurettes for yourself. Enjoy.

Two or three years ago I wrote an Amazon review of the BBC production of this classic fantasy novel and lamented, "If only they'd had a better budget." Well, I can stop whining now. With the success of the "Lord Of the Rings" trilogy and "The Passion Of the Christ," this Christian fantasy/allegory is coming to the big screen in a most impressive way. Directed by Andrew Adamson of "Shrek" and "Shrek 2," with effects by Weta, the company who did the aforementioned LOTR trilogy, expect this to be a remarkable film.

Is it December yet?
