Childhood and Family:
Zach Callison was born Zachry Callison on October 23, 1997, in St.
Louis, Missouri. He has an older sister named Andrea and an older
brother named Wes. He started acting when he was seven years old.
Diary of a Single Mom
Career:
Zach Callison made his first feature film appearance in “Ghost
Image,” a 2007 thriller directed by Jack Snyder and starring
Elisabeth Röhm, Stacey Dash and Waylon Payne. He next appeared as
Tar Pits Kid on the Brad Silberling directed action film “Land of
the Lost” (2009), starring Will Ferrell, Danny McBride and Anna
Friel, as Dominic in the crime film “Kingshighway” (2010),
which was directed by and starred Clayne Crawford, and as Bo in a short
film called “Ninjas in the Shed.”
Callison was cast as Ian in the series “Diary of a Single
Mom,” a role he played from 2009 to 2010. He made guest
appearances in television shows like “Scooby-Doo! Mystery
Incorporated” (2010, voice of Arthur Baywosenthal/Child
#6/Child #7), “Hannah Montana” (2010, as Douglas),
“Sym-Bionic Titan” (2010, voiced Arthur). His voice could
also be heard as Billy Batson on the direct to video film “DC
Showcase Original Shorts Collection” (2010).
In 2011, Callison appeared in episodes of “I'm in the Band”
(as Billy), in which he received a Young Artist nomination in the
category of Best Performance in a TV Series - Guest Starring Young
Actor 11-13 for his performance, “Funny or Die Presents...”
(segment “United States Police Department”), “Perfect
Couples” (as young Dave), “Flip the Script Kids Reality
Special” and “iCarly.”
Recently, in 2012, Callison lent his voice to two episodes of
“The Legend of Korra” called “Skeletons in the
Closet” (as Tarrlok - Age 11) and “The Revelation”
(as Skoochy). He also appeared as himself in the “The Joey &
Elise Show” episode titled “A Place Called Home.”
Callison will play Dylan on the comedy/science fiction movie
“Rock Jocks” (2012). The film is directed and written by
Paul V. Seetachitt and stars Andrew Bowen, Felicia Day and Gerry
Bednob. Additionally, he will portray Ethan in the made for television
film “Little Brother” (Fox, 2012), starring T.J. Miller,
John Stamos and Gillian Vigman, and appear with Eric Roberts, Taryn
Manning and Shiri Appleby in Ron Carlson's comedy film “A White
Trash Christmas,” planned for a 2013 release.
